Program Description
ATI Worksite Solutions implemented an on-site program at a jet engine development, manufacturing, assembly and testing facility. On-site, AWS would monitor all stay at work (SAW) and return to work (RTW) employees through the Transitional Work Program (TWP). The work capacity coordinator is responsible for coordinating information for all involved progression with the transitional work assignment (TWA), follow-up appointments, and updates about changes in restricted duty or return to full duty.

History On-Site
Prior to AWS coming on-site, the responsibility of monitoring the restrictions was placed on the medical staff and the disability case manager. Unfortunately, with the day-to-day operations of the clinic and the case management workload, only a small amount of the weekly time within operations was devoted to restriction management. Temporary restrictions would linger pass the 12 week time period due to insufficient follow-up with the employee, medical physicians (primary care physician (PCP) and occupational health physician (OHP)), case manager and supervisor.

Results Achieved
After implementing an on-site program, the following results were achieved:
Reduction of 50% for the total temporary restrictionsReduction of 68% for the hourly temporary restrictions
